Next, we’ll dive into real-world applications and use cases of ChatGPT in both industry and higher education contexts. The highlight of the workshop is a hands-on opportunity where participants will learn basic and advanced techniques for developing prompts and generating outputs using ChatGPT. Faculty will have the chance to experiment with these models and see firsthand how it can enhance their research or teaching. Lastly, we’ll explore the future of AI and writing and its potential implications in higher education. Join us and discover how ChatGPT can help you be a more productive researcher and teacher!

Rhetoric of Entrepreneurship: An Analysis of Entrepreneur Interviews

Anders, A. and Riddle, M. (2022, October). Rhetoric of Entrepreneurship: An Analysis of Framing Strategies in Entrepreneur Interviews. 87th Annual Association for Business Communication Conference. Virtual.

The presentation explores the rhetorical strategies used by entrepreneurs in three fundamental contexts: identity, relationships, and strategy.  It is based on an inductive qualitative content analysis of a corpus of entrepreneur interviews from series hosted by two different universities. Using frame theory, this study analyzes how entrepreneurs frame both positive entrepreneurial visions and reframe critical challenges.
